The Antonov An2 is the largest single engine Biplane in the World. First built in the USSR in 1947. This aircraft, now 40 years old, is the only one in the UK licenced to carry passengers. The photograph was taken flying over Warwick Castle. It is operated from Wellesbourne Mountford Airfield near Stratford upon Avon. Members of the Aero Troika Club use it to visit Airshows and to go on site seeing flights. New Members are welcome. You are invited to see the aircraft by calling Avon Flying School on 01789 470 727.
